My maternity shoot was a day I had looked forward to for many years. We couldn’t think of a sweeter day to celebrate our baby girl on the way – Valentine’s Day but of course.
As I pulled together inspiration for this shoot, I knew I wanted to incorporate the color of love {red} and other special sentiments from my childhood and wedding day. One of the most special pieces to me that we incorporated were two gold bangles I use to wear as a baby in which I intend on passing down to my daughter. My mother had saved them all of these years and I am so grateful she did. My mother also gave me a vintage jewelry box, so we styled my gold bangles in this perfectly pretty box in which I will use in my daughter’s nursery. From our wedding day, I wore my earrings {also vintage from my mother}, my husband wore his tuxedo and my Pretty Please pup Tabasco wore his bow tie. All of these little details bring back so many fond memories for me. This day and these pictures will forever be cherished. I look so forward to one day showing my little girl how excited we all were waiting for her arrival.
