I am so excited to share this post because arranging florals is one of my favorite things to do. I have many faux floral arrangements around my home but I have never taken the time to record the steps I actually take to arrange one. I go into much better detail on my Instagram via video on my stories but I thought to share the photos for reference here for you guys as well.
These faux florals are from Michaels and they are typically found during the Spring season. I have only been able to buy them in person in the past and to my surprise they are currently available online. I have bought these faux florals 5 years in a row now. I have quite the collection and I have used them for all of my children’s birthday parties. They are my absolute favorite faux floral ever. I used 10 bunches to make this arrangement here and I removed all of the greenery to achieve this look. I have a stemming machine my mother gave me from when she use to have a floral and design shop. Using a stemming machine certainly makes it easier to arrange florals in foam but if you don’t have one you can still achieve the same look by inserting the floral stem into the foam because these stems have wire inside of them. I have done it in the past without using a stemming machine and while a little more challenging it certainly can be done. Inserting a stem with a sharp steel pick just makes it a lot easier and a bit more secure. The size of foam you will need will all depend on the shape and size of vase you will use for your floral arrangement in mind.
Please feel free to check out my FLORAL DIY videos saved to my highlights on my Instagram profile for more thorough DIY details. I hope that you enjoy the steps I have taken to make my arrangement. Please let me know if you have any questions in the comment area.
