With not enough weekends in March, I decided to do a birthday party after school for my son with all of his classmates. I had the party at DEFY trampoline park that my sweet boy just loves and can’t get enough of. I did find it a bit challenging to create an aesthetic that aligns with my taste not being able to work with a blank canvas to decorate. That being said, one of my favorite details of the space we secured was the black and white checkered floors. Absolutely loved them! My son turned 5 this year and he has been very much into Paw Patrol. I tried to pull out the colors of the theme that I love the most – blue, tan, and white for the pretty win. I kept using red to a minimum as the tables in the venue were red and our special guest Marshall would also be bringing more red. I felt the colors we chose to work with still kept things delicate and pretty but also true to the theme.
I cannot believe how quickly the years are flying by. I am holding on to each day and each momentous year as tight as I can. Any reason to celebrate to my children will always be my biggest privilege. Click here for a brief reel into our day.
I love you, MILAN!
