I had the pleasure of designing this magnificent, modern, and romantic Persian wedding ceremony {sofreh aghd} alongside my beautiful bride and some of the most talented vendors who always bring the magic! We wanted to keep the design of the traditional ceremony “simple”, elegant, light and airy. My bride and her groom creatively combined both Persian and American ceremony traditions making us all want to get married again! Exchanging their vows set along the ocean lawn in one of the most beautiful backdrops in Laguna Beach was definitely dreamy. It was an honor to be a part of this...
Here we are friends! Another pretty please animal theme birthday party. It has quickly become one of my favorite themes for littles. The mix of different animal colors, animal patterns, and pretty textures made this party so fun to design. A common denominator in all of my animal theme parties is to use a soft palette of colors and in this palette we really wanted to pick up the sage and sand colors where we could. We set up this party in my client’s beautiful home and courtyard. We had beautiful shadows and sunlight throughout the courtyard from the...

Sienna’s Six in Arendelle “Frozen” Birthday
April 26, 2021For the first time in forever we let it go and celebrated my beautiful daughter turning 6! Like most last year, we had to cancel my daughter’s 5th birthday celebration, so celebrating with our dear friends and family this year was a huge accomplishment. In true please please fashion, I kept the overall colors soft, included sparkles, snowflakes and silver accents where I could and we had the most magical castle cake in all of Arendelle. I hope that you enjoy my version of Arendelle as much as we did. Event Design and Planning: Parisa Kaprealian // Tables, Chairs,...

“Safari Mickey” Safari Milan
April 24, 2021Well this post is extra special for me because I’m here to share my son’s 4th birthday with you guys! We have all had a tough year behind us and like most, I had to cancel my son’s 3rd birthday party celebration last year. Celebrating him this year was EXTRA sentimental. We set up at a private park in my community. I had a themed Safari Guide host the kids playing a variety of games, a scavenger hunt being a favorite one. To my Milan: Celebrating your life is always one of my favorite days. I love you more...
Well this Paris themed party is one for the books for me! I enjoyed planning and designing it as much as I enjoyed attending it. While planning this 5th birthday celebration for my client’s daughter Natalia, our first thoughts gravitated towards beautiful weather, outdoor coffee shops, the Eiffel Tower, and a beautiful color palette to match the magical mood Paris puts us in. We combined all of the above elements and traveled to Paris from my client’s backyard. Everyone enjoyed delicate and delicious sweets, fun travel themed favors, and the girls were hosted by an artist to paint the...
If you followed my last Persian New Year post you already know how excited I was to set up my haftseen {Persian New Year spread} with Shally Zomorodi this year. We did an Instagram LIVE together and I shared my ideas and tips on how to create a traditional (and modern) Persian New Year spread. Here is what I pulled together this year and I must say it was extra special to me because I collaborated with a talented friend and florist Alina {Alina Fiore} who amplified the vision I had for my haftseen with her most gorgeous blooms....

Persian New Year 2021 | NOROOZ {1400}
March 1, 2021Persian New Year {Norooz} is around the corner and year after year I get more excited for it as it nears! Celebrating Norooz is one of my fondest memories growing up and carrying on this cultural tradition with my children is one that I have so much fun with in preparation for its arrival. This year I have the honor to bask in excitement with someone who loves Norooz as much as me, if not more! On Thursday March 11th at 2PM PST, the oh-so-lovely Shally Zomorodi and I are going to be getting Persian New Year ready together...
I have always been one to find any reason to celebrate an occasion, big or small. This certainly holds true to anything that has to do with my children and this year I have been thinking a lot about what we can do together as a family to celebrate love and kindness on Valentines. What I have planned for us will be a separate post but wanted to quickly share the Valentine’s Day cards I got for my daughter and for my son to pass out to their friends in class. Whether your child is in school learning in...
If you are reading this then chances are you love anything pretty like I do. When working on designing an event I always think about how to make the theme personal to my client first, then I tap into selecting the perfect color palette. Most often, the colors I pull together for my events are soft, pastel and even custom. Being able to customize anything is at the true core of my event design with the intention to stay unique in my overall design. That being said, once my design aesthetic is finalized I always like to make sure that my...
Not too long ago I had the pleasure of planning and designing a “welcome to the world” party for a beautiful baby boy named Noah who was welcomed to this world by an amazing family I have grown to know and adore. It has been an honor to be able to design his special celebrations and his 1st birthday has quickly become one of my favorites to date. In true Noah fashion, Noah’s mother and I felt it would only be fitting to design a playful version of Noah’s Ark. We wanted to keep the details soft in colors...
