Not too long ago I had the pleasure of planning and designing a “welcome to the world” party for a beautiful baby boy named Noah who was welcomed to this world by an amazing family I have grown to know and adore. It has been an honor to be able to design his special celebrations and his 1st birthday has quickly become one of my favorites to date. In true Noah fashion, Noah’s mother and I felt it would only be fitting to design a playful version of Noah’s Ark. We wanted to keep the details soft in colors...

Kitchen Cabinet Styling
October 18, 2020There are so many ways to style empty shelves with things that serve a purpose while still pretty. I am sharing a closer look at some of the items I have filled up my kitchen cabinets with that I find functional while still matching my overall design aesthetic in my kitchen. If you don’t know where to begin when it comes to styling an open space, I hope that this post gives you some inspiration as to what could work for you. I have linked some of the items I have on my shelves below as well as other...
Those who follow me closely know that I will label and customize pretty much anything I can. I do it to help stay organized but I also love the look of an item when it is given a personal touch. Monogramming pillows in my home is another thing I love to do because to me it just looks so classic and one of a kind when done right. I am sharing my children’s rooms and have linked some pretty monogram options for any of you interested below. Bedding in both of my children’s rooms are from: Matouk
They’re back! The most elegant, simple, and classic gift boxes by Sugar Paper exclusively for Target. They are only available during the holiday season and when they hit the stores I ruuuuuuuuuun for them. I may or may not have ordered more than I need but I find so many creative ways to use these boxes throughout the year. This year they come in a light aqua and gold color and oh my goodness, the colors couldn’t be more perfect for my aesthetic at home. I feel like they were made for me this year! I am planning on...

Closet Styling {Milan}
September 24, 2020If these adorable keepsake boxes look familiar to you – it’s because I have the exact same set in my daughter’s closet but in a pretty pastel pink. They are the perfect set of boxes to put miscellaneous items in which are important to your kiddos. I have so many items I like to hold onto for my children or that they like to hold onto and because they are random items of importance we don’t have a specific place to keep or store those important items. Having a keepsake box for these said items helps eliminate clutter and...
This small and socially distanced surprise 40th birthday dinner was nothing short of magical. The breathtaking views and the breeze of the ocean was the perfect backdrop for this modern and masculine birthday dinner. We managed to pull it all together in less than 2 weeks (thanks covid) and I couldn’t have done it without an amazing group of talented vendors. Thank you to my sweet client for trusting me in bringing this design to fruition. EVENT DESIGN + COORDINATION: Pretty Please Design // FLORALS, LINENS, CHARGERS, CANDLES: Square Root Designs // BACKDROP, MENUS, PLACECARDS: The Bleu Dahlia //...
One of my favorite snacks to munch on are roasted chickpeas. They are delicious, nutritious and they keep me so full. Tossing them in salads is another way I like to enjoy them. I love the added flavor and texture that they bring to the table. I haven’t explored much outside of a little olive oil and salt on my chickpeas but there are a variety of seasonings you can add to them that won’t leave your palette bored. I gravitate to a mix of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors in my salads and the ingredients I pulled together for this recipe really satisfy...
I have always wanted to have an organized “pretty” pantry and one of the best things that came out of being quarantined for me is bringing that wish to fruition. Being an organized person has always come natural to me. My father was the same way, and well the apple doesn’t fall from the tree. I have noticed that as an adult, organizational projects relieve me of anxiety or stress and it’s a great mental distraction for me. In these uncertain times diving into this project really satisfied me all while truly resulting in a functional space for my family...
My husband is Lebanese/Syrian Armenian and let me just say that I have been introduced to so many delicious new foods that have quickly become some of my favorites. One of them is Fattoush Salad. I love it so much I make it weekly in our home. I have seen many different versions of this salad but the common denominator in the salad is tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers, romaine lettuce and sautéed (or fried / baked/ store bought) pita bread tossed in a tangy sumac salad dressing. I am going to experiment with different vegetables and mixed greens the more...
Organizing and staying organized is one of those areas in my life that keep me sane to be quite honest. Since having children, trying to stay organized, well, it has become more of a constant job. Between toys, new clothes/outgrowing clothes, school work (art work), and things that children like to collect, I am always looking for pretty and functional ways to stay organized. One of my talented friends gifted my daughter with some pretty personalized keepsake boxes I just styled in my daughter’s closet and I am in love with them. In them I am going to put...
