Okay, I’m skipping Halloween and Thanksgiving all together to share some images of my past Christmas decor. Can you tell I’m excited for Christmas? Who’s with me? I used the same faux green Christmas tree the past 3 years and I have to say it held up very well. It was so easy to put up and take down. Every year I did it all by myself while my kids were napping and my husband was at work. This year I purchased an all white Christmas tree which I have always wanted. I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner! Some things I have done in the past which I will do again this year is use faux florals to decorate the tree as well as to prettify a wreath (faux or fresh). I like going the faux route because it’s easy to clean up. Of course we miss the beautiful scent of fresh pine in the the home but there are other ways to make the home smell like the holidays. Some of the items I have in my shopping cart can work for Thanksgiving too if you are still looking for decor but since I normally don’t host Thanksgiving, I don’t have much decor for it. A little secret, I dislike turkey and my husband LOVES it. It’s his favorite holiday as much as Christmas is mine. Some of the decor details I have linked here would look so pretty on either a white or green tree. Some of the decorative pieces I already have and some of them I plan on purchasing. I’m pretty sure I’m going to go the emerald green route with my color theme, at least that’s what I have in my head for now. Follow me on Pinterest for more Christmas decorating inspo! So happy it’s finally Fall!
