Roasted Chickpea Salad

July 25, 2020
One of my favorite snacks to munch on are roasted chickpeas. They are delicious, nutritious and they keep me so full. Tossing them in salads is another way I like to enjoy them. I love the added flavor and texture that they bring to the table. I haven’t explored much outside of a little olive oil and salt on my chickpeas but there are a variety of seasonings you can add to them that won’t leave your palette bored.  I gravitate to a mix of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors in my salads and the ingredients I pulled together for this recipe really satisfy...

Pretty Please Pantry

July 24, 2020
I have always wanted to have an organized “pretty” pantry and one of the best things that came out of being quarantined for me is bringing that wish to fruition. Being an organized person has always come natural to me. My father was the same way, and well the apple doesn’t fall from the tree. I have noticed that as an adult, organizational projects relieve me of anxiety or stress and it’s a great mental distraction for me. In these uncertain times diving into this project really satisfied me all while truly resulting in a functional space for my family...

Lebanese Fattoush Salad

July 21, 2020
My husband is Lebanese/Syrian Armenian and let me just say that I have been introduced to so many delicious new foods that have quickly become some of my favorites. One of them is Fattoush Salad. I love it so much I make it weekly in our home. I have seen many different versions of this salad but the common denominator in the salad is tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers, romaine lettuce and sautéed (or fried / baked/ store bought) pita bread tossed in a tangy sumac salad dressing. I am going to experiment with different vegetables and mixed greens the more...

Closet styling {Sienna}

June 17, 2020
Organizing and staying organized is one of those areas in my life that keep me sane to be quite honest. Since having children, trying to stay organized, well, it has become more of a constant job. Between toys, new clothes/outgrowing clothes, school work (art work), and things that children like to collect, I am always looking for pretty and functional ways to stay organized. One of my talented friends gifted my daughter with some pretty personalized keepsake boxes I just styled in my daughter’s closet and I am in love with them. In them I am going to put...

Father’s Day

May 25, 2020
It feels like yesterday we became parents and my husband became the most amazing father to our two children. I have said it before and I say it again – my husband is amazing at a lot of things, but he is the most amazing at being a father. As Father’s Day is quickly approaching, I have been so wrapped up trying to find something special for my husband from myself and our children. I don’t know why, but I find shopping for men so time consuming and not as easy as it is for women or for children....

Organize me pretty

April 19, 2020
Organizing my spice containers has always been one of the many things I have wanted to do since moving into my new home. Since being quarantined and cooking a lot more I have revamped not only my spice drawer but I am currently working on my walk-in pantry and updating of all of my kitchen utensils too. I don’t know about you guys but being “pretty” organized sure makes cooking that much more fun. I have linked some glass spice containers for you guys similar to mine. I actually have a couple of different styles of glass spice containers...

Serving pretty in vintage

April 18, 2020
Since I can remember, I have always been crazy for all things home. Particularly for tabletop decor and serveware. Curating vintage pieces has always been a fun hobby for me and it’s an area of interest I developed thanks to my mother. Growing up we would shop vintage districts and go in and out of stores just in admiration of so many pretty pieces from a variety of different eras. I started collecting essentially anything I love that is vintage and ended up even wearing vintage jewelry even on my wedding day. There is a beauty to one-of-a-kind pieces...

Homeschooling quarantine style

April 13, 2020
Hi everyone. So a quick blog post here to share how I’m staying organized homeschooling my littles. I use these clear organizers with all of their schools supplies in them. I like the clear option because my children can easily access what they need being see through. We do all of our homeschool assignments on our dining table and these portable organizers are so convenient to just pull out of my cabinet and bring all that we need to the table. I find that before I had these organizers I had to get up numerous times to just reach...

Pretty in the kitchen

April 11, 2020
Currently on day 27 in quarantine and running out of cabinets, drawers, and rooms to organize. I have to happily admit, it has been so nice to have the time to finally do so.  So what I did today was revamp my daughter’s decorative plates I had previously prettified on the wall above her play kitchen. These new English Garden inspired plates are the most gorgeous paper plates I have ever seen. The mix of colors are so well done and the details around the perimeter of them are so detailed and delicate. I have found that my daughter...
