Since I can remember, I have always been crazy for all things home. Particularly for tabletop decor and serveware. Curating vintage pieces has always been a fun hobby for me and it’s an area of interest I developed thanks to my mother. Growing up we would shop vintage districts and go in and out of stores just in admiration of so many pretty pieces from a variety of different eras. I started collecting essentially anything I love that is vintage and ended up even wearing vintage jewelry even on my wedding day. There is a beauty to one-of-a-kind pieces...
Hi everyone. So a quick blog post here to share how I’m staying organized homeschooling my littles. I use these clear organizers with all of their schools supplies in them. I like the clear option because my children can easily access what they need being see through. We do all of our homeschool assignments on our dining table and these portable organizers are so convenient to just pull out of my cabinet and bring all that we need to the table. I find that before I had these organizers I had to get up numerous times to just reach...
Currently on day 27 in quarantine and running out of cabinets, drawers, and rooms to organize. I have to happily admit, it has been so nice to have the time to finally do so. So what I did today was revamp my daughter’s decorative plates I had previously prettified on the wall above her play kitchen. These new English Garden inspired plates are the most gorgeous paper plates I have ever seen. The mix of colors are so well done and the details around the perimeter of them are so detailed and delicate. I have found that my daughter...
It was such an honor to contribute to the haftseen design/display put on by Farhang Foundation at Westfield Century City Mall this year. Being a part of the talented team that brought this traditional Persian New Year {Norooz} spread to fruition was one of my most favorite events to work on. Wishing all of my readers who celebrate this ancient and traditional celebration a very happy, healthy, and prosperous new year. May you and yours be blessed always. Pisha pish noroozehtoon mobarak! PERSIAN NEW YEAR 2020 | NOROOZ {1399}
March 11, 2020Here we are again friends – Norooz {Persian New Year} is almost upon us! The weather is getting warm, the days are getting longer, the birds are singing and so many beautiful spring blooms are starting to blossom. With less and less time to design my haftseen {traditional Persian New Year spread} ahead of time, I decided to use the same mirror I used last year as well as use one of my favorite lace overlays I have used year after year for both my haftseens as well the Persian ceremony spreads I have designed. As I started to set my haftseen...

“welcome to the world” baby Noah!
December 12, 2019This welcome baby celebration is definitely a favorite of mine for so many reasons. We started searching for the perfect venue a few months prior to our party to literally changing last minute (days before the party) paint colors/samples I had finalized for our backdrop. A true labor of love! My client and I wanted to keep the details of this party soft in color, masculine and modern in welcoming baby boy Noah, but of course “pretty” in true Pretty Please Baby fashion. It was a pleasure to plan and design this celebration and I enjoyed myself every bit...
As Thanksgiving quickly approaches I thought to share one of my favorite Persian desserts called Firnee. It’s a creamy rose water and cardamom custard so simple in terms of its list of ingredients yet so deliciously potent in flavor. A great side dessert to have amongst the rest of them on your Thanksgiving tablescape. Firnee can be served warm, at room temperature, or served cold out of the refrigerator. With the winter months among us there is something so soothing to me about feasting on this dessert warm. I have seen many variations of this Firnee recipe. The recipe I...
The details of this post might look familiar to some of you. If so, well then you know how much I love this party theme! It was so fun to revisit this “Time Flies” theme I designed for my son’s first birthday for my darling clients and their sweet birthday boy. I implemented all the same details I did for my son but we added so many more personal details to the party that were reflective of my clients and that also really elevated the overall aesthetic. Celebrating a first birthday party is a big deal in my books....
I had the pleasure of designing this beautiful Persian wedding ceremony (sofreh aghd) at a gorgeous Malibu beachside estate. It was truly magical and majestic having the ocean as our backdrop and being nestled amongst all the rustic charm of this estate. I always get so lucky to meet the kindest and sweetest of brides. Often times our taste and aesthetic is what brings us together because we just speak the same language when it comes to design. This sofreh aghd design was one of my personal favorites because I just love eucalyptus and an overall clean, rustic, and...

over the rainbow FOUR you
June 4, 2019Where do I even begin? My childrens’ birthdays each and every year are such personal milestones for me. I thank God each and every day to have them and to celebrate them. When they hit that big whole number in age I always ponder in thought about how fast time is flying by and how the days, months, and years are just fleeting by quicker and quicker by the second. My daughter’s 4th birthday theme changed several times as I was planning it. It seems like everyday I’m learning more about Peppa Pig, Rainbow Dash, and just all the...
